Daren’s Dollhouse Project

Daren entered the brain injury program after being struck in the head at work. As a part of their rehabilitation, patients will often participate in a project that requires a variety of cognitive skills to complete. Daren enjoys working with his hands and has young grandchildren, so he chose to build a dollhouse for his project. This complex project requires a lot of planning, organization, time management, and attention to detail. Here he is beginning the painting process with some help from another program patient.

One of the most time consuming aspects of the project was putting on all the shingles. Here he is working hard on placing them carefully.
